“This misleading leak is not in the best interests of the children. From the start, Angelina has been focused only on their health and needs, which is why it was so important that this last court hearing be conducted privately," a spokesperson for the 42-year-old told us in a statement.
"It’s deplorable that someone, for their own selfish reasons, leaked selective portions of the confidential and sealed court record to create an inaccurate and unfair picture of what is really happening,” Angelina's rep concluded.
Court documents obtained by The Blast reveal that the judge in Jolie's divorce proceedings with Brad Pitt is adamant that the couple's six kids need to have more of a relationship with their dad, as "not having a relationship with their father is harmful to them."
"It is critical that each of them have a healthy and strong relationship with their father and mother," the judge said, reports The Blast.
The court documents state that Angelina, 42, refuses to allow her children to see their dad, she could risk losing physical custody of Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, Knox, 9, and Vivienne.
The judge reportedly ordered, “If the minor children remain closed down to their father, and depending on the circumstances surrounding this condition, it may result in a reduction of the time they spend with [Jolie] and may result in the Court ordering primary physical custody to [Pitt].” (Basically, if Jolie refuses to allow her children to see their dad, she could risk losing physical custody altogether.)
The judge's orders also requires Jolie to give Pitt the kids' mobile phone numbers and allow the actor to call them. The judge further clarifies that Jolie is not allowed to read their texts to their dad. Additionally, Jolie is allegedly barred from being present or interfering with Pitt's time with the kids in person.
