She's back! Amy Schumer is returning to our screens in the hilarious new comedy I Feel Pretty.
In her first film since Snatched, Amy stars as Renee, a woman who's always wanted to be "undeniably pretty" but struggles with self-image issues like most women in the world. Her perception of herself is altered, however, when she hits her head in a SoulCycle class and wakes up to believe she is
Ever heard the saying "carry yourself with the confidence of a mediocre white man"? Well this film is more like, "carry yourself with the confidence of a really, really ridiculously good-looking model." When Renee suddenly believes in herself, her entire world begins to change.
"In my mind, I [as Renee] am Gisele, I am one the Jenner-Kardashians, gorgeous," Amy told Ellen of the character's changed self-image. "It's a really funny and sweet movie that I think will make us all feel better. It made me feel better to play the role."
Along for the comedic journey are Amy's impressive list of co-stars, including Michelle Williams, Busy Phillipps, Aidy Bryant, Sasheer Zamata Naomi Campbell, Emily Ratajkowski, Tom Hopper and Rory Scovel.
For all the Dawson's Creek fans out there, this is an exciting time as Phillipps and Williams reunite on-screen for the first time. Bryant and Zamata are also co-stars reunited, after appearing on Saturday Night Live together for 4 years.
A hilarious, unsettlingly relatable plot *and* a to-die-for cast? We. Can't. Wait.
