The Sun reports that the pair have been going on "secret dates" over the past few months, since Amy split from her boyfriend Ben Hanisch in May.
"Amy and John have been friends for years but they have been growing closer over the past few months," a source told the publication. "They are both completely down to earth, and that’s why they get on so well. It is early days but they have been on a few dates and she even shared a photo of themselves on Instagram last month after they attended a comedy gig together."
Amy and John have been friendly - at least on social media - for a while, interacting with each other's posts via funny comments and double taps. The comedian was also spotted at John's concert at Madison Square Garden back in April.
Funnily enough, attending concerts and Instagramming photos together are also things that close friends do, so we'll be taking this "confirmed report" by The Sun with a grain of salt.
At the very least, it seems the duo enjoy spending time together - and we certainly would be happy for them if they turn out to be a couple. In the meantime, let's all take a moment to appreciate the current love of Amy's life: her new doggo, Tati.
