Alexander Wang Is The Latest Designer To Collaborate With Uniqlo
Alexander Wang is set to bring his savvy design skills to a range of functional apparel created in collaboration with Japanese basics purveyor, Uniqlo. Made from the retail giant's innovative Heattech fabric, the functional line will cover men's and women's essentials, from leggings and briefs to T-shirts.
"Uniqlo are the ideal partners for this collection of innerwear because we share an appreciation of functionality and utilitarianism, and I am thrilled our collaboration has resulted in developing a new Heattech line,” Wang said of the collaboration.
This isn't the first time the 34-year-old fashion designer and the retailer have teamed up—Wang collaborated with Uniqlo ten years ago as a part of the Uniqlo Designers Invitation Project.
There's no word on an official launch date yet, but expect the range to land in stores later this year.
