The body of a woman believed to have been murdered has been found at a property owned by Gemma Ward in Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
Channel Seven broke the tragic news this morning, the woman who was renting the Avalon property was found dead at approximately 10.30am. The woman was in her fifties, and had been renting the property at the time. It’s understood neighbours heard screaming from the home, with reports the woman suffered grievous injuries.
A man aged in his twenties, who was known to police, has been arrested in association with the crime, and is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
According to NewsCorp, Gemma Ward and her husband David Letts bought the two-bedroom beach house last year for $1.6 million and have rented it out while living with his parents in Newport.
