Bloggers Natasha Oakley and Devin Brugman have created a vintage-inspired swimwear collection with American label Guess. The A Bikini A Day founders created the line with the aim of making women of all shapes feel beautiful.
"Our brand is built on the foundation that women should feel empowered, strong and beautiful and we believe Guess embodies that same mindset. This is the most exciting campaign we have ever shot,” the ladies said about their capsule collection. Modeling gingham bikinis with retro sweetheart necklines and monochrome one-pieces, the gorgeous duo flaunt their enviable figures.
The real-life best friends have three million Instagram followers between them, Tash is originally from Australian while Devin is Hawaiian. In 2012 they started their blog with the simple aim of posting a different bikini every day.
"Funnily enough, we met on Facebook! We had mutual friends (so to speak) and inevitably became close ourselves after I moved to Maui—where Devin is from. The business was never the goal, we were just two friends, spending time at the beach and taking photos in our bikinis. It wasn’t until we noticed the engagement we were getting, and requests for collaborations from swimwear brands, that we realized the business potential. Suddenly we went from BFFs, to BFFs/Business Partners," Oakley told Glamour.
A Bikini A Day X Guess will be available from May 16.
