With over 25 years in the business, the princess of pop has joined the ranks of Women of Style winners, not only for her artistry and elegance, but also her merits as a savvy and determined businesswoman. "That really pleases me," she says of her Women of Style win. "I've always worked to make business and creativity meet in a dynamic and harmonious way."

Karin Adcock
Since bringing Danish jewellery brand Pandora to Australia seven years ago, Karin Adcock has led the company to significant growth, while also spearheading the its charity efforts. "I was surprised just to be nominated!" she laughs.

Winner: Fashion


Lisa Ho

With a career spanning more than a quarter of a century, Lisa Ho has opened Australian Fashion Week three times and dressed countless celebrities, but insists there's no formula to her success. "I do what I love," she says simply.


Winner: Readers' Choice


Kristy Hinze
For the international model, Sportscraft ambassador, eco-campaigner and now Women of Style winner, impending motherhood is a significant driver in her pursuit for Australia's ecological preservation. "I want my children to grow up seeing the same things I did," she says.


Winner: Arts/Culture

Miranda Otto
An accomplished screen actress and also a celebrated stage actress, Miranda Otto returns to the Sydney Theatre Company this month in The White Guard. Despite the acclaim, complacency isn't part of her repertoire. "Having done a good job [before], doesn't guarantee you will do a good job on the next thing," she says.

Gracie Otto
The youngest in one of Australia's most renowned acting families, Gracie Otto is a burgeoning film-maker, who draws inspiration from "music, images, fashion and design". "I am a sponge for great stories," she says. Her desire is to bring these stories to our screens.

Sasha Titchkosky
Launching furniture and homewares company Koskela with her partner Russel Koskela, wasn't an obvious choice for Titchkosky, " I studied law and accounting," she laughs. "But I think I had a buried desire to work in a creative field." Today, her company is a favourite of both corporate clientele and design lovers and is also eco-ethical.

Ronni Kahn
"Abundance should be shared," says OzHarvest founder Ronni Kahn. This mantra cuts to the heart of her charity's aim: to rescue leftover food from restaurants, events and caterers, and deliver it to the homeless and hungry in Sydney, Wollongong, Newcastle, Canberra and Adelaide.

Juanita Phillips
Seeing her byline in print a t the age of 10 sparked the journalism career of ABC-TV's Juanita Phillips. The high-achieving mum of two remains grounded and frank, and tells of the difficulties of being a working mother in her 2010 book, A Pressure Cooker Saved My Life.

Jacqueline Arias
Many would hesitate before giving up an award-winning career as a journalist to become an entrepreneur, but for Jacqueline Arias "there was not a minute of doubt" to quit her job at the ABC to create her successful organic Fairtrade coffee brand República.


Winner: Beauty


Miranda Bond
British-born Miranda Bond is the first to admit, "I was a tomboy. I didn't wear make-up, and the first time I wore nail polish, I was in my thirties!" Today, the mum is the CEO of beauty brand Inika, a natural cosmetics company available at over 500 stockists worldwide founded on her belief that exposure to chemicals was affecting her ability to conceive.

Prue Henschke
The Henschke wines label pleases the palate of oenophiles worldwide, but behind the production is Prue Henschke: vigneron, viticulturist, and wife of winemaker Stephen – who together lead the industry in soil preservation and vineyard sustainability. Prue's background in botany and zoology made "the integration of the environment with vineyard management a natural connection."
