A natural behind the lens and in front of it, photographer, model, and entrepreneur Candice Lake brings her inimitable chic to the season's bravest looks.

Candice Lake just may be the ultimate triple-threat; at 30, the photographer, model and blogger plays a leading role in the growing breed of multi-taskers taking the fashion world by storm.

Having dropped out of law school at 20, to walk runways for Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Fendi, the Brisbane-raised, London-based beauty switched to photography in 2005, studying at Sydney's UNSW College of Fine Arts. But most notably, Lake became a hit in the blogosphere, focusing on street-style snaps on her site, candicelake.com, which launched last year.

It was a form she barely knew, but instantly clicked with. "I love the fantasy of fashion," she says, "but I think now we're also interested in seeing the translation of fantasy into reality."
