Showcasing his critically-acclaimed signature tailoring, Australian designer Dion Lee made his London Fashion Week debut–with a little help from Kanye West…
The autumn/winter 2012 collection featured a simple palette of black, white, grey and red. Androgynous two-piece suits, ephemerally sheer bleached skirts, and sculptural cut-out dresses, all accessorised with ankle-strap shoes by West, were presented during the installation-style catwalk show.
While Lee's inspiration for the show was explicitly abstract, we're picturing a muse in the form of Academy Award-nominee for Girl With A Dragon Tattoo, Rooney Mara (bottom right) – who, naturally, has been spotted in Lee's designs of late.
